Thank you for reaching out to Participatory Defense Movement New Orleans (PDMNola), where we teach legal awareness as the best form of defense to justice involved citizens. We are here to fight with you.
Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Sibil Fox and Robert Richardson, affectionately known among our peers as FoxandRob. We are a popular New Orleans based couple who endured and survived 21-years as an incarcerated family and are the subjects of the award winning documentary, TIME (2020).
Not to be denied, after Fox’s release from prison in 2002, they led a valiant charge to regain Rob’s freedom and restore their family. In June 2018 Governor John Bel Edwards granted clemency to Rob, 90 days later he was released. Upon his release, FoxandRob founded Rich Family Ministries and PDMNola, one of thirty-five Participatory Defense hubs nationwide.
PDMNola models itself after Silicon Valley De-Bug, using the Participatory Defense to put those closest to the pain, closer to the power structure and those responsible for carrying out justice. We work diligently to impact the outcome of cases and transform the landscape of power in the court system. We equip those who are justice-involved the legal tools they need to adequately address court matters. Although we are not attorneys, we work in concert with legal professionals utilizing best practices to defend our people and free our loved ones.
We have a HYBRID model for our weekly Thursday HUB MEETINGS at 6:00pm CST. We will meet in person at 1024 Elysian Fields, New Orleans, LA 70115, and you can join virtually on Zoom.
